Overview
Georgia Beach & Recreation area is a great place to spend the day with the family. The park has a playground, picnic areas, a tennis court, a basketball court, volleyball, baseball, and softball fields. The boat launch is a great area to go out and enjoy all Lake Champlain has to offer.
The pavilion is a great spot to get out of the sun and enjoy a meal on the picnic tables. The pavilion is also available to rent for private parties and camps. For more information on renting out the facilities contact the Town Clerk's office.
Security
The park now has security cameras throughout the area. An automated gate has been added to the park which will open during the season at 7 a.m. and close around dusk. The gate is equipped with a pressure sensor so if you are in the facility after closing driving up to the gate will open it from the inside.
Hours
The park is open from 7:00 a.m. to Dusk Spring through Fall. Facilities will close down at the end of September. The park will typically re-open in the winter once the lake is frozen to allow lake access in the winter.
