    The Russell Green Natural Area: A beautiful walking path off of Route 104A.

    • This 44-acre oasis of forest and wetland is located off Route 104A
    • A walking trail takes a roughly 2-mile loop through the forest, where you can observe the protected wetlands of Deer Brook, a tributary leading to the Lamoille River, Lake Arrowhead and eventually Lake Champlain
    • The parking lot is on Route 104A, west of the Arrowhead Lake public access

    Silver Lake Woods

    • A large, magnificent forest property abutting tranquil Silver Lake on the east side of town.
    • Parking is on Silver Lake Rd.

    Mill River Falls Natural Area

    • 3.5 miles of trails on 35 acres of incredible wildlife habitat including the delta lands of Mill River protected forever thanks to a grassroots fundraising campaign led by Rod Vallee and the Georgia Conservation Commission
    • Parking lot is located where Mill River Rd meets Georgia Shore Rd.

    Falls Road

    • This old town road is an easy walk through clearings, forest and alongside an old stone ledge.
    • The southern end starts off Cline Rd, the northern end is off Mill River Rd.
    • There is no parking lot

    Recreation Area
